Overview

Sub Sessions ("the App") is operated by TJ Cabrera ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Sub Sessions mobile application.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: Email address and password (via Firebase Authentication) when you create an account.
Profile information: Username, display name, belt rank, gym affiliation, and profile photo that you provide.
Training data: Session logs, journal entries, techniques, check-ins, and other training content you create in the app.
Location data: Approximate location when you use the gym check-in feature, used solely to verify proximity to your gym. Location data is not stored beyond what is necessary to complete the check-in.
Device information: Device type and push notification token, used to send you notifications you have opted into.
Usage data: Basic app usage information collected via Firebase Analytics to help us improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the App's features
To enable social features such as following other users and viewing their public posts
To send push notifications for check-in reminders and social activity (only if you grant permission)
To process in-app subscription purchases via RevenueCat
To improve app performance and user experience

Third-Party Services

Sub Sessions uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, file storage, and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the services listed above, or as required by law.

Your training posts and check-ins are visible to users who follow you (mutual followers). Profile information such as your username, belt rank, and gym are visible to other users of the app.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the support email below.

Children's Privacy

Sub Sessions is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us at tjcabrera88@gmail.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
